The Shreveport-Bossier Journal staff is taking a quick Thanksgiving break so there will not be a Thursday edition of the Journal.

But Friday morning, the SBJ will be back in your e-mail at 6:55 a.m. as usual.

There are three Friday night high school football playoff games featuring Airline, Byrd and Calvary to preview, along with some notable college contests Saturday involving LSU, Louisiana Tech and the big Bayou Classic in New Orleans between Grambling and Southern.

Expect that content and more in your e-mail Friday morning.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
