The Bossier Parish Community College basketball team kept its record perfect Tuesday afternoon on the final day of the Third Annual Decari Markray Classic at Billy Montgomery Gym.

The Cavaliers (9-0) got 20 points from tournament MVP Braylan McNeal in a 71-53 victory over Baton Rouge CC (4-4).

Charles Onana added 17 points for the Cavaliers and also made the five-man All-Tournament team.

Bossier edged Evangel in overtime, 70-68, in the second of two high school games in the evening session. Doyline rolled 60-13 over Plain Dealing in the first one.

The two-day classic was started in November 2022 to honor the former Doyline and Bossier Parish CC standout, who tragically passed away in October of 2021.
