Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation is excited to partner with Major League Baseball and the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation to upgrade the P.B.S. Pinchback Park youth baseball field.
The $400,000 project will include a new synthetic turf infield, 200 ft. fencing, and backstop upgrades, supported by a $50,000 grant from the MLB-MLBPA Youth Development Foundation. Construction begins on Oct. 28 and is expected to be completed in December.
Caddo Parish has been an affiliate of the MLB-Nike Revitalizing Baseball in Inner Cities Program since 2020, promoting baseball and softball for underserved kids.
