NOTE: Meat Pie Festival poster contest extended Due to the anticipated impacts of tropical storm Francine, the poster contest has been extended for students in the 5th to 8th grades. Posters were scheduled to be submitted on Wednesday, September 11 at the main branch of the Natchitoches Parish Library by 5:30 pm. The submission date and time, now includes: Thursday, September 12, 5:30pm instead. The judging of the posters will be on Saturday, September 14; 3pm on the riverbank stage.
