Members of the Bossier Parish Police Jury recently said farewell to the Commander of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit, Russell Craig.
Craig has served the citizens of Bossier Parish in the CVEU for the past 17 years. Butch Ford, Parish Administrator, thanked Craig for his work in helping to keep the parish roads safe.
During Wednesday’s Police Jury meeting, Mr. Patrick Jackson, Parish Attorney, spoke to the jurors about the exemplary service Craig provided the citizens of Bossier Parish.
“I want to thank Russell personally for setting up the CVEU and the tremendous work he has done to help with its success for the past 17 years,” Jackson said. He added that Russell and his team had saved taxpayers in the parish millions of dollars in road repairs after drilling in the Haynesville Shale began.
