The Shreveport Fire Training Academy auditorium was recently remodeled, paid for by the citizens of Shreveport who approved the 2021 bond. The Shreveport Fire Department is excited to start hosting classes or courses that directly represent our Firefighters knowledge, skills, and abilities.
If you are currently wanting to host a course or class that directly represents the Fire Service please reach out to brian.watson@shreveportla.gov.
We are looking for courses that directly help innovate the current services that we offer to our citizens and greatly improves upon our firefighter mission and vision to the city. These classes can range from Company Officer Awareness, Incident Command Table Tops, bridging the gap from firefighter to Company Officer, and Leadership to name a few.
