The Shreveport Police Department responded to an armed robbery on July 17 at the Exxon station located at 5109 Monkhouse Drive. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the complainant, who stated that while she was working the register, an armed man approached and demanded several packs of cigarettes. The suspect then took the items from the clerk and fled the scene.

 

Investigators from the SPD Robbery Unit were immediately notified and responded to the scene. Surveillance footage of the incident has been reviewed and is being released to the public in an effort to identify this violent criminal.
