Any day is a great day for ice cream. Forty years ago President Ronald Reagan declared July as National Ice Cream Month. In recognition of that Blue Bell Ice Cream recently visited the Bossier City Central Fire Station and gave ice cream to the firefighters. Blue Bell representative J. P. Schmid said that they thought it would be a great way to reach out to the community. Bossier City Mayor Tommy Chandler joined in and the firefighters were all very grateful.
