Caddo Sheriff’s Captain Disha Darby, Deputy Jacinda White, and Deputy Ty King recently participated as mentors at the Junior Achievement of North Louisiana’s B.O.L.D. (Business Oriented Leadership Development) Summit for Girls. The event brought together 114 high school students from six Caddo Parish public schools and 64 inspiring businesswomen mentors.
During the event, deputies had a fantastic opportunity to share their knowledge and experience with the young ladies. They spoke about the qualities that make a good leader, the significance of confidence, and the importance of having the courage and integrity to reach their life goals. The deputies enjoyed interacting with the students and are excited to participate as mentors again next year.
