A student at Southwood High School was arrested on April 4 for making threats involving school safety, said Caddo Sheriff Jay Long.
The arrest came after the school’s resource officer, Corporal Willie Williams, was notified that a student had posted threats on social media.
Detective Christopher Ardoin investigated the case and arrested the teen for Menacing. She was booked into the Caddo Juvenile Detention Center.
No weapons were found in the teen’s possession.
