The Caddo Sheriff’s Office is offering a state-required training course on Saturday, April 6 from 8 am – 5 pm at the Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy for anyone 21 and older who would like to obtain a concealed handgun permit. The course includes classroom instruction, firing range instruction, and a qualifications course.
Registration ends on April 4.
Participants should be familiar with how to safely load and unload their firearm before attending the course. This is only the class needed in order to apply for a Louisiana State Concealed Handgun Permit.
Pre-registration is mandatory to attend the course. The cost, which includes fingerprints, is $100, payable by money order or cashier’s check. Please register at the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office, located at 505 Travis Street, Room 700. For more information, call 681-0875.
