Bossier City Mayor Tommy Chandler congratulates Bossier City “Employee of the Month” Lieutenant Michael Booker. Lieutenant Booker is a 27 year Veteran of the Bossier City Police Department and a 32 year Veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard.

Upon being nominated Lieutenant Booker was recognized for “demonstrating exceptional dedication, leadership and unwavering commitment to the success of the team and the overall objectives of our Department.”

Booker was also recognized for his community engagement, training and skills in the area of problem solving. Mayor Chandler said that he is proud of all of Bossier City employees and Lieutenant Booker is an example of Bossier’s Best. Lieutenant Booker said that he was humbled by the recognition. Lieutenant Booker was nominated by Sergeant Scott Wells.
