Woman arrested for battery on officer in Shreveport incident

The Shreveport Police Department released a statement on March 15 announcing the arrest of a woman for battery on an officer. According to the report, officers responded to a disturbance in the 2800 block of West Caperton around 1:40 a.m. on March 14.

Upon arrival, they encountered Natalie Tucker, an 18-year-old individual. The situation escalated when Tucker allegedly became combative and attacked one of the officers. As a result, Tucker was apprehended and charged with several offenses, including resisting an officer, property damage, and battery of a police officer.

Fortunately, the officer involved did not sustain any significant injuries. The statement also emphasized the presumption of innocence until proven guilty, as required by law.
