City of Bossier City officials – including Mayor Tommy Chandler and City Council members Brian Hammons and Vince Maggio – joined in the celebration at the recent celebration for the opening of the new Brookshire’s grocery store located at 4860 Airline Drive.
“Cutting this ribbon (today) means more jobs, more opportunity, and more growth for the City of Bossier,” said Mayor Chandler. “Brookshire’s has always been a staple in our community, and we celebrate their continued investment in our city.”
The Feb. 10 event included a ribbon cutting with a large crowd of stakeholders to the mark the store’s grand opening, complete with cheerleaders and marching band members from Benton High School.
Brookshire’s Grocery Co. operates more than 180 stores, including the Super 1 Foods, Spring Market, and FRESH by Brookshire’s brands.
