When CORK XVII: A Red River Wine Event takes place at Festival Plaza on Saturday, April 1, chances are Mary Oates will be there enjoying the festivities.

“We missed it because of COVID, so I’m glad it’s back,” said Oates, who has attended the event twice. “It’s so much fun. We got to try wines from all over with lots of different styles.”

At the area’s premier spring wine event, you’ll receive a signature CORK wine glass and spend the afternoon socializing and tasting from a selection of over 90 carefully curated wines and delectable bites from local eateries.

Wine experts will be on hand to offer advice and answer questions. There will also be live music and raffle drawings.

New this year, VIP guests will have the opportunity to attend a wine class 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Thrifty Liquor will have a special pop-up store to purchase bottles of their favorite wine tastings.

Tickets to CORK XVII are $100 and a few reserved tables packages including 10 tickets are still available for $1,500. Raffle tickets are $10 each and may be purchased with cash or card on site during the event.
