Journal Staff picks, Super Bowl LVI

LOCAL BENGAL: Trent Taylor after his 2-point conversion in the AFC Championship Game

Just two of our original Super Bowl selections made the big game – Doug Ireland’s Cincinnati Bengals and Roy Lang III’s Los Angeles Rams. Both picked those teams to lose, however.

What about now? Ireland, a hardcore but apparently not absolutely loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan, has chosen to ride Joe Burrow and the Louisiana-stuffed Bengals to the finish and has one other supporter on staff.

Lee Hiller and Teddy Allen are tied entering the final NFL game of the season.
