Johnson Secures Majority, Avoids Runoff

With all precincts reporting, Johnson received approximately 58.5% of the total votes cast, comfortably exceeding the majority required to win outright under Louisiana’s election system.

Cable received approximately 23% of the vote, while Gromlich received approximately 14.3%.
