A Memorial service celebrating the life of Rodney Glen Smothermon, 53, will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday November 3, 2026, at Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel 943 Polk St. Mansfield, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until service time at the Chapel.

Rodney was born on February 15, 1973 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Glen Wayne and Nita Glen Rawls Smotherman and passed away October 27, 2026 in Grand Cane, Louisiana.

Rodney was preceded in death by Nita Smothermon, Cody Smothermon, Vernal Paterson, and Doug Smothermon.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Glen Smothermon; wife, Teresa Smorthermon; sons, Rodney Smothermon, Jr., and Luke Myers; grandchildren, Oliver J. Myers and Ivy E. Myers
