Caddo Parish Public Schools has announced its 2026–2027 Support Persons of the Year, recognizing three employees for their dedication and contributions to students, staff and their respective campuses.

Superintendent Keith Burton and district leaders visited three campuses to surprise the recipients with the announcements.

The 2026–2027 Support Persons of the Year are:

• Elementary: Anthony Rainey, Head Custodian, Westwood Elementary
• Middle: Gwendolyn Spanier, Paraprofessional, Keithville Elementary/Middle
• High: Tony Abraham, Head Custodian, Caddo Parish Magnet High

The district recognized the three employees for their work preparing campuses for students, mentoring young people, supporting classrooms and contributing time beyond the regular school day.

Caddo Parish Public Schools emphasized the impact support personnel have on students and colleagues, noting that their contributions extend beyond their daily job responsibilities.
