According to police, Ward was advised of her Miranda rights and admitted to kicking the victim several times while she was on the ground.
Ward was subsequently charged with second-degree battery and booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
In a later update, police announced that Rokeya Horton, 43, had been identified as a fourth suspect in the investigation.
An arrest warrant for Horton was approved by Judge Hatway, with no bond set.
