Caddo Parish 4-H welcomed Alexis Bearden to its team Sept. 15. Bearden joined fellow agent Mary O’Neal and 4-H program assistant Sandra Brumley.

Bearden is a former 4-H member and adult volunteer and a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in Livestock Production.

After graduating from Louisiana Tech, Bearden wanted to make an impact on youth in the 4-H program because of the lasting impact growing up in 4-H had on her. 4-H provided her with the foundation and knowledge to help her achieve her degree and contributed to her determination to further her education.

Outside of work, Bearden enjoys photography, outdoor activities and thrift store shopping.
