At approximately 11:48 a.m., Caddo Fire District 3, along with Caddo Fire District 4 providing mutual aid, was dispatched to a structure fire in the 7500 block of S. Lakeshore Drive in Shreveport.

First-arriving units found a shed fully involved, with the fire having extended to the front of the residence. Fire crews brought the fire under control in approximately 20 minutes.

The residents were able to safely escape the home, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
