The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will close the I-20 westbound on-ramp from Traffic Street on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 6 a.m. to noon.

The ramp will be completely closed for approximately one day while DOTD crews remove debris and vegetation from the roadway.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route during the closure.

The work is weather permitting. Drivers were encouraged to use caution around the work area, watch for crews and equipment, and leave plenty of space between vehicles.
