Bossier Parish School for Technology and Innovative Learning (BPSTIL) hosted the Louisiana Association of General Contractors for its district meeting, where the school was presented with a $25,000 grant from the Louisiana AGC Construction Education Trust Fund.

Bossier Schools Career & Technical Education Supervisor Doug Scott accepted the award on behalf of BPSTIL.

The funding will help open new doors for students as they gain hands-on experience for high-demand trades.

BPSTIL culinary students also prepared and served a meal to the gathering of industry professionals.

Bossier Schools thanked the Louisiana AGC for investing in its students and building a stronger future for the local workforce.
