Sunheng Lim has unexpectedly passed away at Willis-Knighton South Hospital on Monday, September 7, 2026 at the age of 78, and the time of death is 12:49 PM.

He was a caring father, an accomplished worker of a few trades, and a well-respected friend to many people who interacted with him throughout his life. Born in Kampongcham, Cambodia to his father Som Lim and his mother Tom Prok, Sunheng valued hard work, dedication and attention to detail regardless of the tasks he had to perform. Although he took his work very seriously, he had a very good heart deep down inside.

Mr. Lim leaves behind his beloved wife Sokoum who stayed by his side for 53 years, his eldest daughter Sunsokona “Ona” Van Dorn, his youngest son Mitchell, his son-in-law Mike Van Dorn, his grandson Michael Kai Van Dorn, his three sisters and two brothers overseas.

Services will be held at Osborn Funeral Home in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, September 19, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and invites will be sent out via phone, text, or by mail to friends and relatives living in the United States who are able to attend.
