Bossier Parish has extended its current burn ban for 30 days due to ongoing conditions that increase the risk of wildfires and grass fires, unless lifted sooner.

The extension was signed by Parish President Tom Salzer and filed with the Parish Clerk of Court.

Residents are urged to comply with the burn ban and remain vigilant in preventing fires.
