Airline’s comeback win over Parkway was easily the most competitive contest in weekend high school football jamboree action.

The Vikings got a quarterback keeper by Chase Williams with nine seconds remaining to complete a rally from a 15-0 deficit to edge their South Bossier rivals in the Bossier Lions Club Jamboree at Airline’s M.D. Ray Stadium.

The only other one-score outcome was Green Oaks’ 7-0 win over Woodlawn, with the only score coming on a fumble return by Giants’ senior defensive end Jakerrious Smith in the Caddo Parish Jamboree at Independence Stadium.

Most of the jamboree competition was matchups of two 12-minute quarters.

Regular-season games begin Thursday night.
