Shreveport Police Seek Woman Who Used Fake Military ID to Steal $8,500 from BOM Bank

Shreveport police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who allegedly used a fraudulent military ID to steal $8,500 from BOM Bank at 4321 Youree Drive on July 15. Investigators say the suspect presented a fake military identification card bearing a victim’s name and requested a cash advance against the victim’s credit line. Bank employees processed the transaction believing the ID was authentic. The fraud was discovered when the victim noticed the unauthorized withdrawal. Second-Degree Murder Trial Opens in 2023 Allendale Shooting

A second-degree murder trial opened today in Caddo District Court in connection with a 2023 shooting in Shreveport’s Allendale neighborhood. Caddo Parish Commission Meets Thursday on Data Center Moratorium

The Caddo Parish Commission holds its regular monthly meeting Thursday, Aug. 20, at Government Plaza.
