The Bossier City-Parish Metropolitan Planning Commission will host a Business Made Easier Workshop from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2026, at the Bossier Central Library, 7204 Hutchison Drive, Bossier City.

The workshop is designed to help local entrepreneurs better understand the development process and connect with agencies and resources available to help move their businesses forward.

Topics will include zoning requirements, permits and approvals, the development process and available resources.

Representatives from Permits, Fire Prevention, Water, Tax, AEP SWEPCO, the Health Department and the Bossier Chamber of Commerce will be available to answer questions and provide guidance.

The workshop is free to attend, but registration is requested.
