Highway 71 will remain closed between Highway 154 and Highway 527 through Friday night, Aug. 14, due to an ongoing accident investigation and cleanup at the intersection of Highway 71 and Smith Road.

Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and avoid the area if possible.
