The Haughton Police Department received a $10,000 grant funded by CPKC (Canadian Pacific Kansas City).

Earlier this year, Officer Spinney with the CPKC Police Service contacted Chief Gibson about potential funding opportunities for the department. When the grant became available, Chief Gibson applied for the grant.

The department was presented with a check for $10,000 to help go toward the purchase of a new police car.

Haughton Police Department expressed gratitude to Officer Spinney and CPKC for recognizing the department’s need and awarding the funds.
