The floating pier at Earl G. Williamson Park in Oil City has been temporarily closed while repairs are made to a bushing on the pier, according to Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation.

The pier will remain closed until all repairs have been completed.

Caddo Parish Parks and Recreation said it recognizes the park is a popular fishing destination and apologized for the inconvenience. The department said it will notify the public when the pier reopens.
