The Caddo Parish School Board unanimously approved an employee stipend plan during its meeting Tuesday, continuing its commitment to invest in the employees who serve Caddo students and schools.

All eligible employees will receive a $1,000 stipend. Employees on salary grades with starting pay below $30,000 will receive an additional $500, bringing their total stipend to $1,500. Payments will be made on or before Aug. 15.

The approval follows the board’s June action providing a 6% across-the-board pay raise for eligible employees. According to the district, the investments recognize the work of Caddo Schools employees and support efforts to recruit and retain educators and support professionals.
