Remembering Pamela Ann Cook Looney

Pamela Ann Cook Looney, 79, of Shreveport, LA, passed away on July 7, 2026. Born on September 14, 1946, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she was a cherished resident of Shreveport, where she spent her final years.

Pamela leaves behind a loving family, including her life partner, Jim Gray; children Lanna Paul, Lowell Parker (Charolet), Karl LeGier (Christina), and bonus children Joshua Gray, Brittany Gray, Jordan Gray, and Gabriel Gray (Katlyn); and grandchildren Brooke Dorsey, Keelie Harrison, Alexandra Dodd, Claire Parker, and Halle LeGier. She is also survived by her brother, David Cook (Georgann), and her beloved pet, Dexter. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Jane Cook, her grandchild Brienna LeGier, and her brother Stephen Cook.

Pamela had a passion for decorating her home for every season and holiday, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all who visited. She was a wonderful cook, known for her ability to whip up delicious meals for her family, and she had an unmatched love for shopping, always finding the best deals in town.

Pamela’s vibrant spirit and loving nature will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
