Funeral services for Brandon Scott Salter, 40, of Elm Grove, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 11, 2026 in Rockett Funeral Home Chapel, Ringgold, LA.  Interment will follow in Social Springs Cemetery, Ringgold, LA.  Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday, July 10, 2026 at Rockett Funeral Home, Ringgold, LA.  

Brandon was born January 20, 1986 in Shreveport, LA and passed away at his residence in Elm Grove, LA on July 5, 2026.  He loved spending time with his children, whether it was fishing, camping, or playing baseball.  Brandon loved to watch his youngest son play baseball and to help his daughter with her homework. He was super proud of the man his oldest son had grown up to be.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Kelly Salter; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Perry and paternal grandmother, Gayle Todd.

Left to cherish his memory include his parents, Julie and Chris Procell of Elm Grove, LA; children, Landon Salter, Reagan Salter and Jackson Salter, all of Elm Grove, LA; brother, Jesse Salter of Copperas Cove, TX; girlfriend, Kristen Scott-Milligan of Elm Grove, LA; maternal grandfather: David Perry and Linda of Monroe, LA; fraternal grandfather, Billy Todd of Theodore, AL, step-grandfather, Tony Procell of Ringgold, LA; step brother, Christopher Procell of Shreveport, LA; step sister, Adrianne Warren of Jamestown, LA; wife, Jessica Salter and step children, Dominic Fowler and Mia Warner; nieces, Kenzie Salter of Haughton, LA and Macy Salter of Copperas Cove, TX and a number of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Landon Salter, Andy Bolyer, Matt Sharp, Steve Miller, Chris Barnard and William Oswalt.  Honorary pallbearers will be Daryl Sharp, Tommy Murrell and coworkers of his at Alloy Piping Products.
