The Shreveport Police Department has announced the promotion of four officers to leadership positions within the department.

During a promotion ceremony held last Wednesday, Chief Smith promoted Lt. Gabriel Horton, Sgt. Adam McEntee, Sgt. John Lee, and Sgt. Rodney Medlin.

Department officials said the promotions recognize the officers’ years of hard work, dedication, and commitment to serving the Shreveport community.

The department congratulated each of the newly promoted leaders and wished them success as they assume their new responsibilities.
