Jimmie “BooMan” Ford was born May 31, 1949, in Gilliam, Louisiana to Roosevelt Ford and Ethel Ford.  

With great sadness Jimmie gained his wings on June 19, 2026.  

Jimmie was the youngest of seven children.  He loved working as a farmer as long as he could.  When not farming he was fishing or at the horse track watching the horses.  

Preceding him in death are his parents, a sister, five brothers, a son, and a daughter.  Left to cherish precious memories are wife, Barbard Ford; brother, Roosevelt Ford; son, Jimmy Ford; daughters, Christina Ford and Maxine Jackson; 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.  

Jimmie you will be greatly missed.  Your legacy will live on for many generations.
