The Bossier City Police Department is recognizing dispatcher Nicole Stevens as she retires after 25 years of service to the department and the community.

Stevens spent a quarter-century serving as a police dispatcher, providing communications support to officers and assisting residents during emergencies and other calls for service.

Department officials praised Stevens for her professionalism, dedication and commitment to public safety throughout her career. As a dispatcher, she served as a vital link between officers in the field and the community, helping coordinate responses to incidents across Bossier City.
