Remembering William Charles Wright

William Charles Wright, 77, entered into eternal rest on June 12, 2026. Born on April 5, 1949, in Benton, Louisiana, William lived a life marked by hard work, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to those he loved.

A machinist by trade, William dedicated many years of his life to his profession, earning the respect of coworkers and friends through his skill, dependability, and strong work ethic. He believed in the value of an honest day’s work and took great pride in providing for his family.

More than anything, William cherished the people who filled his life with love. He was a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, a loving brother, and a faithful friend. His steady presence, kind heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He also shared a special bond with his cousins, Linda Wright and Jerome Bell, who were reared together as siblings. Their lifelong relationship was a treasured part of William’s life and a testament to the enduring strength of family.

William was preceded in death by his parents and all others who welcomed him into his heavenly home.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Nellie Wright; his son, William Wright, Jr.; his daughter, Angela Murphy; his brothers, James Wright and wife, Eloise, and Raymond Wright and wife, Merle; his special cousins, Linda Wright and Jerome Bell; three cherished grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
