The Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office recently welcomed Rachel Hughes as its newest Assistant District Attorney.

Hughes was sworn into the position by James E. Stewart Sr. and joins the office after serving as a staff attorney for the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal.

A 2022 graduate of Southern University Law Center, Hughes brings legal experience from the appellate court system to her new role prosecuting cases in Caddo Parish.
