Catholic Charities reopens Shreveport Financial Empowerment Center

Catholic Charities of North Louisiana has officially reopened the Shreveport Financial Empowerment Center, expanding access to free financial counseling services for residents throughout the community.

The program will provide one-on-one financial counseling at no cost to participants, helping individuals and families address personal financial challenges and work toward long-term financial stability.

Catholic Charities celebrated the reopening during a ceremony attended by representatives from the City of Shreveport, the city’s Community Development Department, community partners, and local leaders.

Among those recognized during the event were representatives from the City of Shreveport Government, the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce, and Mark Watson.

According to Catholic Charities, the Financial Empowerment Center is designed to provide personalized financial guidance and support to community members seeking assistance with budgeting, debt reduction, savings goals, and other financial matters.
