Southwood High School has been named the 2025-2026 Caddo Parish High School WeCare School of the Year, according to a social media announcement from the Southwood Cowboys.

School officials said the recognition reflects the dedication of the school’s students, faculty, staff, parents and community partners, highlighting the culture of compassion, service and excellence promoted throughout the campus.

Officials added that the award recognizes the school’s emphasis on relationships, student support and community involvement both inside and outside the classroom.
