The Parish of Caddo announced it has received the Rural Enhancement Award from Visit Shreveport-Bossier during the organization’s annual Excellence in Hospitality Awards.

According to parish officials, the award was co-presented to the Shreveport Regional Arts Council in recognition of the collaborative Boom or Bust Byway Signage project located in North Caddo Parish.

Officials said the project highlights regional history and culture through signage installed along the byway route in North Caddo Parish.
