The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is partnering with LifeShare Blood Center to host a blood drive on Monday, April 6, as part of the “Step Up & Save Lives” campaign.

Mobile donor coaches will be set up at 1101 Forum Drive in Shreveport from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., giving community members an opportunity to donate and help meet local blood supply needs.

Organizers have set a goal of at least 18 donors for the event.

To be eligible, donors must be at least 16 years old and present a valid photo ID. Those who are 16 must also provide signed permission from a parent or guardian.

Appointments can be scheduled online through LifeShare’s donor portal, though walk-ins may be accepted as space allows.
