Two men arrested after burglary at Shreveport vape shop, stolen items still in their possession

Two men were arrested Wednesday after police linked them to a burglary at a Shreveport vape shop, with stolen merchandise still in their possession at the time of their arrest.

Shreveport Police officers responded March 5 to the 2500 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop regarding two suspects connected to a burglary that occurred the previous day at a vape shop in the 9100 block of Mansfield Road.

Officers detained Kane Spence and Joshua Stringer at the location. A responding officer then returned to the business, where an employee positively identified both men as the suspects involved in the burglary.

Stolen items from the burglary were recovered still sealed and in the men’s possession at the time of their arrest.

Spence and Stringer were transported to the Shreveport City Jail and booked on charges of simple burglary and theft.
