Members of Bossier Parish Fire District No. 1 recently attended a graduation ceremony to support one of their volunteer firefighters as he completed training at the Arkansas State Fire Academy in Camden, Arkansas.

Firefighter Josh Goode graduated from the academy as part of his training for his full-time position with South Bossier Fire District 2.

Training Captain Hardy and Firefighter Rodriguez represented Bossier Parish Fire District #1 at the ceremony.

Goode has served as a volunteer firefighter with Bossier Parish Fire District No. 1 for about six months. Department officials said they are proud of his accomplishment and look forward to his continued growth in the fire service.
