Bossier Parish Sheriff Julian Whittington announced the promotion of two deputies during a ceremony held in the Sheriff’s Conference Room at the Bossier Parish Courthouse.

Patrick Laurent was promoted from Patrol Deputy to Sergeant and will serve as a shift supervisor in the Criminal Division. Justin Waggoner was promoted to Detective and reassigned from Patrol within the Criminal Division.

Sheriff Whittington is also pleased to welcome Brooke Lehr, who will join the Communications Division as a dispatcher. Her addition strengthens the team responsible for answering calls for service and supporting deputies in the field.

Sheriff Whittington commented, “These promotions and new additions reflect the professionalism, integrity, and leadership demonstrated within our agency each day. I am proud of the dedication shown by our personnel and confident they will continue serving the citizens of Bossier Parish with excellence.”
