The Port of Caddo Bossier has been named one of 19 sites across 16 parishes to advance in Louisiana’s inaugural FastSites program, a first-of-its-kind state initiative to prepare industrial sites for high-impact projects.
FastSites invests in site readiness and infrastructure improvements before companies call, helping Louisiana compete nationally for transformative projects in logistics, manufacturing, energy, and other priority sectors. Projects may include utility upgrades, rail and road access improvements, environmental remediation, and demolition.
“Preparing sites before industry calls gives Louisiana a competitive advantage,” said Cameron Henry. “Because these funds revolve back into future projects, this becomes a long-term tool for sustainable growth.”
The Port of Caddo Bossier is now positioned to attract private investment and jobs through FastSites, with additional site-specific funding and details to be released over the next six months as Cooperative Endeavor Agreements are completed.
