MEN’S BASKETBALL: After a late-season surge with nine wins in the last 16 games, the Gents got rewards on the All-SCAC Team.
Senior guard Quentin Beverly finished his sensational career by being named second team All-SCAC. He earned all-conference honors for the fourth time in his career.
Beverly scored in double figures a team-high 25 times this season and did so in 14 straight games to end the season.
Beverly, who became just the 37th Gent to score 1,000 or more career points, finished his stellar career with 1,278 points to rank 20th all-time in the 102 years of Centenary men’s basketball. He played in 99 career games with 95 starts and averaged 12.9 points in four seasons, with a high of 18.0 this season.
Freshman guard Jaden Braden and freshman guard/forward Kane Broussard joined Beverly on the All-SCAC team as honorable mention picks. They earned two of the five coveted spots on the prestigious All-Freshman Team for first-year Gents coach J.A. Anglin.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Senior guard Amiyah Barrow and senior forward Kyra Stokes, a former Captain Shreve star, were named to the 2026 All-SCAC Team.
