Micah Wilkerson of Morgan City was charged with second degree battery and booked into the Bossier Parish Maximum Facility Jail following an altercation that occurred this past Wednesday evening at a high school soccer playoff game. His bond has been set at $10,000.

The incident, reported in the Shreveport-Bossier Journal last Thursday and Friday, took place after the conclusion of a soccer game between Bossier High School and Morgan City High School. The game was held at Bossier High School.

The investigation into this matter is ongoing, said the Bossier Parish Sheriff’s Office.
